One of them is Everest Panorama Trek, an easy and short way to be in the lap of Mt Everest. The program is specifically made for those who cannot trek long uphill hours and couldn’t stand high altitudes. The one who does this trek will experience the same beauty and glory of the region without taking too many chances.

You’ll begin this adventure with a flight to Lukla, the doorway to Everest. Upon the landing, you will catch the trail of Everest Base Camp Trek. You will trek through the classical Sherpa villages like Phakding, Monjo, Namche Bazaar, and ultimately end up in Tengboche. The village of the largest monastery of the region and incredible mountain views, Tengboche(3,860m), will be the highest point of the trek.

On this journey up to Tengboche, you’ll witness the lifestyle of Sherpas, the richness of vegetation of the region, the breathtaking terrains, the rivers and the suspension bridges over them, monasteries, and more. Yet, the most relaxing part will be the mountain views that you will see throughout the trek. The likes of Mt Everest, Mt Ama Dablam, Mt Lhotse, Mt Pumori, and others will greet you with excellent mountain displays.

As said earlier, this trek is highly recommended to those who can’t afford any risks of high altitudes and exhausting trek. Besides, trekkers with short travel schedules can also be part of this adventure. You’ll experience the home of Mt Everest without taking any chances in quite a short time.

After, we will set off from Lukla through a downhill trail to the river bed of Dudh Koshi River. Crossing several suspension bridges, villages and having walked for several hours, we will end up in Phakding, the first stop of every Everest Region Treks. We’ll settle for a comfortable night in a teahouse in Phakding.

Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3,440m)| 5-6hrs

The breakfast in Phakding will fuel us on the trail towards Namche Bazaar. We will be walking on the sides of the Dudh Koshi River and cross several suspension bridges. Soon we will end up in Monjo, the starting point of Sagarmatha National Park.

Then our trek becomes more and more scenic as we see mountains for the first time on the trek. However, there will be several uphills that will take us to Namche Bazaar. We will finally arrive in Namche, the beautiful Himalayan town, after walking for 5-6 hrs. Overnight in Namche.

Day 5: Rest Day at Namche Bazaar

It will be a free day in Namche Bazaar, where we will perform hikes around to get comfortable with the altitudes. Namche is a great place to spend a whole day. It is full of life of Sherpas, and if you go a little away from here, we will find the authentic Sherpa villages too.

Therefore, after a short walk around the town’s alleys, we will head towards Khumjung and Khumde, the two biggest Sherpa settlements of the region. We will have alternative hiking places like Syangboche Airport or Sherpa Culture Museum or Everest View Hotel. Following the hike we will get back to Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche | 4-5hrs

Next to the acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, we will continue our trek to Tengboche. It will be done by following an uphill trail from Namche Bazaar. Little away from the town while on the trail, we will start viewing the majestic Ama Dablam and other mountains.

As the day goes on, we will trek through a dense wood where we may see several wild animals. In this way, we will reach Tengboche, the village of Tengboche Monastery.  We will spend a beautiful evening there by watching the visions of Ama Dablam.

Day 7: Trek back to Namche Bazaar |5-6hrs

Tengboche is the ultimate stop of Everest Panorama Trek. Keeping that in mind, we will explore the village and monastery area before leaving it for Namche Bazaar. We’ll have a retracing trek on the same trail which will end us in Namche’s busy streets. Walking through the same forested trail, Dudh Koshi’s banks and the suspension bridges, and enjoying the picturesque mountains, we will be back in the town to have the night’s rest.

Day 8: Trek back to Lukla| 6-7hrs

We’ll have a farewell breakfast in Namche before we join the trail to Lukla. The trek will start with a downhill descent to the riverbed of Dudh Koshi River and Hillary Suspension Bridge. Following the river all the way through Monjo and Phakding, we will arrive back in Lukla. It will be a long trekking day when we will switch straight from Namche to Lukla. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 9: Fly back to Kathmandu

As per the weather conditions, we will join a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. There can be some delay if the clouds are not open up.
